Alonissos is a new scuba diving location in Greece following the lifting of government restrictions. The greatest advantage of this Greek island is that the whole area has been declared a National Marine Park since 1992. Therefore this marine ecosystem is one of the most preserved in the Med! This provides an excellent opportunity for diving into crystal clear waters of significant importance to our European and world heritage.

The amazing crystal visibility of the Marine Park waters will allow divers to see sponges, corals, moray eels, blackfish, sea breams, scorpion fish, multi-coloured stripey fish, amphorae shards, caves and shipwrecks.

Home to hundreds of rare species of birds, plants and sea animals – and home to the endangered Monk Seal!

Dive Alonissos – a haven for pirates and on the crossroads of ancient merchant paths – the reason why there are numerous shipwrecks under the crystal clear waters.
